This coming Tuesday, November 6, 2012, will be the most important landmark of 2012 so far.

Thoughts about the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse of November 13, 2012

The second Total Solar Eclipse of 2012

Occurs in the sign of Scorpio. This is a perfectly charged celestial alignment. Its appearance on the 13th day of the 11th month is extremely meaningful, indicating a sharp shift of energies. Mayan Core Days

Every 260 days, for twenty consequent days the core column of the Tzolk'in is activated. The spinal column is the 7th of 13 20-day periods. These twenty days at the center share a particular quality, giving access to the timeless hub where eternity resides. To be clear, eternity does not mean endless amounts of time, but rather leaving the concept of time altogether behind. The door to eternity is in the Now, this very moment, the standing wave of creation in progress, the gap between the worlds. During core days, we experience a rare balance point between extremes. Residing on the razor's edge, in a surprising equilibrium, it becomes possible to harmonize left and right, celebrating the gap between future and past. The atmosphere of these twenty core days invites us to meditate, relaxation into the Now becomes much easier. The core days are charismatic and intense in nature. The integration of polar opposites occurs naturally. The center column offers a sacred space of rest and retreat within the apparent whirlwind of ongoing creation.
