From breakdown to breakthrough
"Everything will be alright in the end.
If it's not alright, that simply means it's
not yet the end."
The
planetary web of October and November 2013 indicates that we've arrived at a
tipping point. The New Moon of
October 4, at 11°56' Libra, is in close alignment with Uranus and Pluto. Intimately
resonating with Sun and Moon, these two big shakers are now at center stage.
What's going on in the United
States is indicative. As happened earlier, one might expect a last minute
agreement. This time however, from an astrological standpoint, it seems that the
two parties' positions are further apart than ever before. It's very well
possible that we're slithering into a serious crisis of insolvency and
bankruptcy. And when this happens the crisis of 2008 will be small potatoes. As
we know, everything is connected. One single straw might break the camel's
back. Consider a total collapse of the world's banking system, money literally
being annihilated.
It's a fact that banks are
lending more money than they're entrusted with. One hundred years ago, every
safeguarded dollar got lent approximately four times. And in today's world, in
order to maximize profits, people's savings are passed on up to one hundred
times! This is totally absurd and only possible in a virtual environment.
Banking jargon calls this 'leverage'. Promising one dollar to one hundred
people is certainly a recipe for trouble.
In the wake of the 2008 crisis, the emphasis
was to somewhat temper such practice. However, banks have kept themselves camouflaged,
there's lots of smoke and mirrors. Aside from some cosmetic adjustments nothing
really has changed. None of the inherent systemic problems have been resolved.
And therefore, one can be certain that the next melt down is imminent. Most likely the avalanche will come so fast
and powerfully that any attempt of containment will fall short.
It's the nature of things, when
blowing up a balloon: at some point it's going to burst. In 2008 the bubble got
seriously punctured. However, back then, governments were able to save the
situation by injecting enormous amounts of liquidity, speak new air into the
punctured and imploding balloon of the world's financial system. Damage was
contained, somehow it was managed to patch the leak.
In the end we might be thankful
to these extreme Republicans. They might do our world a great service in
pushing the whole system over a cliff! When the collapse comes, when the
largest economy has to declare bankruptcy, all of a sudden nobody will be able
to serve debt anymore. Banks will cease to exist, and with them will all
balance sheets evaporate, regardless whether they're positive or negative. Literally, in one single blow all financial
burdens could get absolved, and all fictitious wealth annihilated.
The most basic design flaw of
our world's money system is that a very small number of people is controlling
it. You might be surprised to learn that the right to generate money is not in
our governments' hands. For some strange reason this most fundamental power is
hold by private banks! This is the root cause for our world's misery! A few are
exploiting the many. This is the setup of modern age slavery! Millions and
billions of dollars of our hard earned gains are continuously funneled to a few
privately owned banks who claim the exclusive rights to generate money out of
thin air.
After the 2008 crisis, many
countries adopted severe austerity measures to be able to keep up with paying
the huge interests. The book 'The
Body Economic: Why austerity kills', backed by a decade of research and
reams of publicly available data reveals that more than 10,000 additional
suicides and up to a million extra cases of depression have been recorded
across the two continents since governments started introducing austerity
programs in the aftermath of the crisis.
The balloon will burst, the only
question is when. Initially everything will come to a complete standstill.
There will be shock, nothing will function any longer. However, this will only
be the very first stage. Soon people's viewpoint will shift. We will realize
that we're still alive. No real harm has been done, there's been no earthquake,
no tsunami or nuclear disaster. What
vanished has been artificial, was keeping us trapped in an illusory rat race.
We will find ourselves living in a very different world. We won't need to
outwit one another any longer, sacrificing our world and destroying the
environment to maximize profits. Bartering, the exchange of goods and services
will be the new economics. And most likely, because it is a valuable concept,
eventually a new currency, owned by the people and made for the people, will be
introduced.
Overall there will be great relief.
We won't have to feed the sharks anymore. We will have more time and energy for
what really matters, rediscovering what nourishes our souls. Helping one
another and coping with the crisis will bring us closer to each other. We will
get together and build local networks of support, reorganizing life,
reinventing flow and rediscovering meaning. This will be a new beginning which
could trigger a quantum leap.
The documentary "I Am" by Tom Shadyac
starts with the question of what's wrong with our world. He then explores on
what could be done to improve upon it, what we could do (or not do) to turn
this world into a better place. A particular highlight of his presentation is
the fact that Charles Darwin in his original work mentioned 'competition' only
twice, while the word 'love' shows up ninetyfive times. All through nature,
contribution is more fundamental than competition, it's in our DNA. He
illustrates on how moments of deep empathy make our brain release endorphins,
inducing the religious and spiritual experiences we all are inherently longing
for, and which ultimately make life worth living.
Week 40 September 30 - October 6
Monday, September 30
Loyalty
is today's theme. Contemplate on what a deeply nourishing experience it can be to
care and give support. And also, on how at times it happens that one may remain
loyal out of habit, just because it's comfortable, lacking the courage to stand
in one's own power. Hence make it a point to first and foremost remain loyal to
what you know is right.
Tuesday, October 1
Before
the Moon enters the sign of Virgo at 12:52 p.m. we might feel a bit lost as far
as decision making goes. This is so because the Moon carries that irrational
right brain feel while it
closes in on its journey though Leo. - As soon as the Moon changes into
earthy Virgo our vision clears up. Inspiring thoughts and great conversations
reveal facets we might have overlooked. Be playful, enjoy the soap bubbles you're
surrounded by.
Wednesday, October 2
There's
quite a charge in the air, it's almost tangible. Uranus has its closest yearly
approach to Earth. Situations can change in the blink of an eye. Be gentle and
extra careful, avoid confrontations. Give yourself some love, even if it's just
the enjoyment of a deep breath once every so often.
Thursday, October 3
We're
moving through the eye of a cyclone. The stillness feels eerie and ominous. If there's
a dispute, make sure to keep to the facts and restrain emotions. The Moon is
again void-of-course,
from 1 to 9 p.m. MDT. One day before New Moon, this could be a great time for
reflection and meditation, or any creative activity.
Friday, October 4
Prior
to New Moon (6:34 p.m. MDT), the Moon encounters hard angles with Pluto and
Uranus. In the Mayan
Dreamspell Calendar today's signature is 13 IX - Etznab (IK), the White Cosmic Wizard. - This New Moon pretty much sets the tone for
the rest of this year. You would have
guessed, the wizard acts like an antenna, picking up from wisdom channel.
Planet Mars is one of the personas represented by the wizard, encouraging us to
experiment with new approaches, venturing into undefined territory.
Saturday, October 5
1 MEN - Men (MEN), the Blue Magnetic
Eagle, initiates the second last 13-day wave of this present 260-day round of the Tzolk'in.
It is ruled by the power of vision. Connect with the source of clarity within
yourself. The Libra Moon radiates a peaceful calm which allows for quite an
impartial and objective assessment of where things are at within the greater
picture. Plant new intentions accordingly.
Sunday, October 6
We
are waking up to an intense and deep Scorpio Moon. Great emotional forces may
be moving through today, challenging us to hold our ground and connect to the
fire within. Practice perfection, celebrate beauty and continue bringing your
mental focus to what matters right now in your life. Entertain nurturing and
constructive thoughts. Doing this will invoke empowering emotions.
